OpenWeather will be exhibiting at Cold Comfort 2026 on 20-21 May at the CBS Arena, Coventry.
You’ll find our team at Stand B42, where we’ll be showcasing our Road Weather solutions for winter maintenance operations - including route-level forecasting, dense sensor networks, road condition monitoring and operational decision-support tools.
Throughout the exhibition, we’ll be running live demos of the OpenWeather platform, including the same operational approach that helped Cumberland Council reduce grit usage by 30% without compromising road safety.
One of the key themes this year is the growing gap between regional weather forecasts and actual road-level conditions.
As discussed in Daniel Johns’ recent interview with Cold Comfort News, winter maintenance teams increasingly need visibility into what is happening on specific stretches of road - exposed bridge decks, shaded sections and routes where surface conditions can vary significantly within a few miles.
